HI friends!
We have one last layout to share with you today, using our June Kit Club contents.
Elaine used the bolder cardstock background to help draw the eye to her subject (AKA sweet Falyn) in the photos, this is a super effective yet simple trick - give it a try on your next layout!

Sketch-y Friday with Team B
Hi there and happy Friday!
Today we are sharing our very last sketch for June, incredible how quickly this month came and went! Here is your sketch....
And here is your Team B inspiration!
Here is a run down of our Sketch-y Friday rules. Just link up your creations in our sidebar to be entered into a random draw
for our monthly
prize. You have until June 29th, at midnight to participate in any of this month's sketch
challenges, each linkup tool will remain open until that
date! You may take some artistic license with your adaptation of the
sketches, however if you choose to use a double page sketch for a single
page layout you may only enter once per sketch, not once per side.
If you are playing along with more than one challenge you will need to link each of them up via a separate blog post for the link up tool to work. (International participants may be required to pay some shipping fees.) Good luck, we cannot wait to see what you create!
*note - If you are playing along using Flickr the team will no longer be leaving comments, due to changes in Flickr policies and passwords. However, we will be checking out your entries for sure and you are definitely eligible for the prize draw. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thanks for visiting!

File Folder Mini Album | Tutorial
Hi there!
Laura here today sharing a fun and easy mini album using a plain office supply file folder. Then of course, we will make it pretty!
Start by laying your file folder wide open onto your table.
Then fold the bottom up at the 4 inch mark. You will want to score your folds for a nice clean look.
Now fold from the left hand side toward the centre, the goal is to have the outer edge of the file folder aligned with the centre fold. Note - your tabs will go over the centre seam if you are doing htis correctly.
This is a side view for reference. { Yes it is upside down ;) }
The right side of your file folder will look and fold slightly differently, as this is where the tab is. Basically you want to fold it over so the section that you have already folded sits nicely over the right side of the folder.
The edges on the left side should all be evenly lined up to one another.
The right side of the fold / last page will be wider than the others.
Now for the fun part! I used some My Mind's Eye "Nostalgia" collection that I had just a few scraps of, as well as some brads, stickers and die cut shapes. Using one of the larger scraps. I added a panel of patterned paper to the front of my mini album, and layered up some embellishments on it, as well as a scrap of Dear Lizzy ribbon.
I used my largest scrap to cover the back of my album, cutting it an inch wider than I needed it so that I could wrap it around and over the edge of the front of my album. This turns it into more of a book style album.
Here is the inside view now.
And this is the first two pages, after I decorated them. I added a brown patterned paper matt to each page.
And the third and fourth pages. The pockets are a super fun way to tuck in mementos from an event or trip. I did add a bit of adhesive to the right side of the pocket on the fourth page so that anything I decided to tuck in will not fall out the side.
Another look at the front.
The side view, I love a chunky mini album!
This whole project came together really quickly.
I love that I was able to use up some scraps to create this cute project!
Stay crafty!

Loopy Flower Tutorial | Tips and Techniques
Hi there!
Laura here with a fun flower tutorial to share with you today.
To get started you will need a scrap of patterned paper, a 1 inch circle punch, a brad, adhesive, a paper trimmer, and a 1/8th inch hole punch (or piercing tool).
Cut your patterned paper into 1/2 inch strips and a little over twice as long as you want your finished flower. For example, my flower measures about 2 inches so my strips are 4.5 inches - giving me a half inch overlap when creating my loops.
I used 6 loops on my flower but larger flowers may need more loops to make them appear fuller.
Add a little adhesive to one end of the strip.
Overlap the ends to form a loop.
Hole punch or pierce the centre of your strip.
Like this.
Hole punch o pierce the centre of a 1 inch circle that has been punched from a coordinating colour.
Feed your brad through the punched and pierced circle.
Start layering your loops to fill in your flower.
Like this.
This is what the front should look like, you may want to play with the placement of the loops to straighten them out.
And this is what it looks like on my tag. These loopy flowers would look adorable on a card or layout - or event a little present! What do you think?
