Hi there!
I have a fun little organizational DIY to share today, that also includes a bit of recycling! How can we not love that, right? And it has the added bonus of using chalkboard paint! Am I the only one with that addiction?
To start with you will need your chalkboard paint and a foam brush, plus several smallish recycled jar lids. Jam jar lids are a good size, but really you can use any size you like.
No go ahead and start painting, the firm coat will look a little rough.
After 2 or 3 coats it will look great! Let dry about an hour between coats. When you have your desired coverage, let dry for 24 hours.
Now it's time to condition your mini chalkboard, go ahead and rub it all over with your chalk and erase. It is now in perfect chalking condition!
The last step is to punch a hole in the lid. You can do this with a nail and hammer or by using a drill, whatever suits your fancy. It is rally not hard to pierce these little lids.
Now string it up with your favourite twine, chalk on your label and you are set to go. How is that for super easy?
Thanks for visiting!
