Cost is $45 and includes snacks, drinks, lunch and dinner

On-site store available for all your shopping needs!

Spring Retreat Information

Hi friends!

We were just talking the other day, and it seems as if March is not just sneaking up on us, but is coming upon quick!

We still have some availability at both weekends, so if you are interested in attending please contact us soon.  

Here are the details:

2015 Spring Retreat at the Elmhurst Inn Resort and Aveda Spa 

March 6th-8th 2015 (in the Grand Ballroom)
March 27th-29th 2015 (in the Carriage House) 

 Yes, we are once again offering 2 weekends for our semi annual retreat!  Spaces are limited at both retreats, so do not delay - book your spot today

Our retreats are held at the beautiful Elmhurst Inn Resort and Spa.  The  Inn is located only 40 minutes from Brantford in the town of Ingersoll.  Surrounded with acres of beautiful scenery, the Inn itself has elegant decor, freshly redecorated guest rooms and baths, complete with 2 queen beds and a warm atmosphere.   All rooms include complimentary access to the guest lounge, games room, fitness room, whirlpool, sauna and steam room so bring your bathing suit!  

The cost of each wonderful weekend getaway is only $335 + HST, based on a minimum of double occupancy. Single occupancy available for an additional fee. Your weekend begins Friday at noon and extends to Sunday at 4pm. The cost of the weekend includes two nights accommodation and all meals. The scrapbooking space is open 24hrs. To help you budget for this fantastic weekend, we are breaking down the cost into 2 payments.  A $150 deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Sketch-y Friday with Team B and our Guest!

Hi there and happy Friday!

What a chilly week we are having in our neck of the woods, great weather for hiding out and scrapping, if you can!  We are busy today getting ready for a day crop tomorrow, if you are not joining us, we hope you can at least tuck in to a cozy corner of your house and scrap the day away!

Ranger Ink Texture Tools Mini Demo

Hi there!

I have a super simple mini demo for you today, with a short video.  I recently had a chance to check out and play with the  Ranger Ink Texture Tools, so I will share a few tips and thoughts.

All of these tool styles come in one package!

I am going to play with chalk paint, I found that it shows up better on the video.  But texture paste is ideal for this.  I do like the texture I got from the chalk paint, it is much more subtle as it dries though.

Here are a few still shots of my results.

You can see the paint flattens somewhat as it dries, whereas the texture paste would not.  Although, I am surprised that some texture did remain.  

You know I will be playing iwth this tool often, I just stocked up on more paste,too!
