Hi friends!
From all of us to all of you, we hope you have a happy and safe New Year's Eve!
I am sharing a fun little tutorial today I hope you enjoy it!
This video pretty much says it all! (Maybe even too much, ha!)
Conversely, you could add colour to your cut files, then group them and print, and cut them out to create a pre-coloured digital image. Another great tip for those of you that are not colourers!
Here is a still shot of the card that I made using this technique.
I hope this helps you look at your cut files in another way, it is always great when we can use our supplies in multiple ways!
Product List:
Pattern papers: Crate Papers
Copic Colours: Y25, 23, 21; E70, 71; W00, 1, 3; C0; BG0000, 10, 11, 13
Butttons and Twine: Misc.

Manufacturer Spotlight
Hi friends!
We have our monthly manufacturer in the spotlight to share with you today, and I bet you think it is going to be Teresa Collins, don't you? Well, those of you that picked up on our trend of featuring the company that we use as our designer's reveal on the first of the month probably thought so!
But we are changing things up a bit. We have Time Holtz in the spotlight, we are just loving his products that we are carrying in the store, and you must be too judging by how they are selling!
Two weeks ago we shared a "how to" with one of his products and we have another to share with you soon. We are just having too much fun!
So that you can have even more fun, we thought you might like to check out his You-tube channel, you can find it here. There are so many great products and tips that he shares, you could definitely lose track of time! Or you could book mark the site and check them out one at a time if you want to be a little more reasonable! But we won't judge or tell if you are going to dive in head first!
Have a great day!

Button Snowman Ornament
Hi there!
Laura here today and I am sharing a fun little tutorial today with my friends at ScrapMuch?, using buttons to make a cute little ornament or Christmas present ordornment.
This is also a fun craft to do with the kids, they will love giving them as gifts or hanging them on the tree.
You will need 7 white buttons (2 small and 1 medium for the head, 2 medium and 2 large for the body), 3 black buttons (2 small and 1 medium) and 1 small red button; as well as, some red floss or yarn ( I prefer floss so I can put it through a needle) and some red ribbon.{Can you believe that I have next to no white buttons? What is up with that? It was slim pickings for sure.}
It does not matter how many holes are in each button, we will only be using 2.
Start threading the buttons, working from the top of the snowman down.
Continue feeding on buttons, you can see I am even using a button with only one hole. I am not even sure how you would use this for a button, but it works fine in this application.
Now begin threading back up through all the buttons, if your buttons have 4 holes, use the one that is diagonal from last time.
When they are all threaded on, they should look something like this.
Tie a knot in the top.
And now tie on your little scrap of ribbon for a scarf.
Isn't he cute?
How about now, on this cute little burlap stocking?
Thank you for visiting!

Tim Holtz Sprtizer tool - Tutorial
Hi there!
I have recently picked up the Tim Holtz Spritzer tool, it is super easy to use, creates a fun look and can be used with multiple marker styles. I created this tutorial using a mixture of still shots and a short video.
As you can see in the photo below, this tool can be used with a wide variety of markers, though they should be felt tipped. I do not have any Tim Holtz markers so I tried out the Spritzer with Sharpies and Copics. I had great success with both styles. When using Copics, you will want to use the chisel tip as it is the felt tip end. You will notice this below.
Loosen the screw on the marker barrel chamber and insert marker, then re-tighten the screw to hold the marker in place. You will want to align the felt tip of your marker so that is sits across the opening that the air pushes out of.
For larger markers like Copics, you will simply remove the screw, slide out the barrel chamber and then insert the marker and re-insert the screw.
Again, align marker tip so that it sits over the opening.
Here is a short video of the tool in use.
This is a still shot of the test spritzing I was doing during the video, as you can see layering different colours and masks would create a super unique background, easily customizable to different projects.
And this is a layout that I would like to share. I used the spritzer tool with two different masks and two different colours of Copic markers to create my background.
Just a few close up shots of the layout for you...
You can order your Tim Holtz Spritzer tool by emailing us at scrapmuch@roges.com .
Products used:
Teresa Collins 'Tinsel and Company' patterned paper, chipboard accents, sequins and Washi tape.
Copic Markers.
Tim Holtz wood grain stencil.
The Crafters Workshop Tile Texture stencil.
Mr. Huey's gold mist
American Crafts white cardstock.
Misc. button twine and doily.

December Colour Challenge and a November Winner!
Hi there!
We have our December colour challenge to share with you today, but first let's pick a winner for our November challenge! Using random.org to draw a winner.....
{Edited to insert the correct random.org image, the sketch challenge winner image was incorrectly inserted. My apologies for the confusion. Laura}
... which means, 4. SweetScraps: Just Dance is our winner! Congratulations, please email us at scrapmuch@rogers.com to claim your prize, and don't forget to grab your winner badge from our left hand side bar!
Now here is a look at our December 2014 colour line up.....
This fabulous colour board is from Design Seeds. The photos are for colour inspiration only, this is not intended as a mood board.
To play along, all you have to do is create a new paper crafted project, of any type, that uses at least 4 of the colours from the colour board and post it on your blog or any other online forum (ie. your Flickr Account) that you can link us up to, by our deadline. Then link it using the Inlinkz tool in our sidebar.
One lucky participant, drawn randomly, will be winning a prize!! It doesn't get much better than that! Everyone is welcome to play, though there may be some shipping charges to our international winners.
Thanks for visiting!
