My hubby snapped these photos while we were at Turkey Point last summer, without my knowledge. I think he did a great job. However, I did crop out my hiney on one though!  You can click on any of the pictures to see a larger image. I sliced the large die cut scalloped circle into thirds and use the two outer pieces on this layout, saving the centre piece for another project. Then I adhered the pieces of the scalloped circle on either side of the soft turquoise patterned paper onto an off white base of card stock. After adding my photos, the first one with the acetate photo cover over top, I added a small strip of striped paper, the lime green bracket shaped piece (which actual comes from the label section of the patterned papers, a little trick I learned from Eileen (an owner's sister) and the brown tag, one of the stickers from the sticker sheet and the journalling card. I trimmed around the the title tag removing some of the lime green and then pop dotted it over my pictures. It nestled in really nicely once it was trimmed. Then I added the flower with a button sticker, and flourish stickers as well as the tab that I wrote the date on. Next I added a sprinkling of coordinating brads from my kit.
Next up I thought I'd try a more masculine layout. These pictures are of two of my sons (Jon, 19 and Timmy, 7) they always snuggle and act goofy when they are together, so I wanted to be sure to scrap these photos that really depict their relationship.
Again using a neutral base, I added the lime green pattern paper behind the photos after chomping the corners. Then I layered more pattern strips on top of and below the lime paper, punching or chomping their edges as I went along I created the journalling tag with a piece of the left over circle die cut paper (re:: above) and a bracket pattern piece cut from the label of a pattern paper (also re: above). I misted the circle and star charms with 'Dragonfly' Glimmer Mist, I then punched holes in the star to use it as a button. I added the boys' initials using the alpha stickers and punched circles. Then I added another sticker for the title. A bit of twine and buttons and brads from my stash, and done!
Next up is a picture I really wanted to use, of my little guy and his two besties (Avery and Ally). They are so cute together. 
Although it is hard to tell in this scan, the background paper is scalloped on all four sided, it is really beautiful. The photo is matted on a piece of brown pattern paper and then layered on top of a piece of the soft turquoise floral paper. A series of punched circles layered with punched striped paper and another bracket from a label make up the base of the layout. The title is created from the 'cousins' sticker, layered with a ribbon cut from pattern paper and stickers spelling out the word 'Friends' . I loved the sentiment 'all for one and one for all' for this picture but 'cousins' just didn't cut it. This is a good example of altering what the manufacturer gives us to suit our own needs. For embellishments, I added a Glimmer Misted Chunky Bracket, a Glimmer Misted small flower and a die cut butterfly to the left hand side and a Bazzill flower and another die cut butterfly to the right hand side. As well as a sprinkling of buttons and Dew Drops from my stash.
This next layout wasn't in the original plan, but when I came across this photo in my 'to be scrapped' basket , I knew i had to use it. I thought it would pop with the colours in this kit. A very simple layout using a great plaid pattern paper as the base. A wide strip of striped paper layered withe the photo matted on the soft turquoise pattern paper, and another bracket cut from the label edge (yes, I am utilizing this technique and every bit of these products!) I adhered the rub-on title directly to the photo for extra pop, modifying the layout of the letters. Added a punched tab for the date. And hand cut a flower from the flower paper, covering it with Liquid Glass for shine and durability, and loosely adhered it to the layout, 'tying' it to the papers with twine. A sprinkling of punched and scrunched circled as well as buttons and brads from my stash complete this layout.
After creating these layouts i was excited to create some cards with my scraps, have a look.....
By trimming down the centre of the scalloped circle, i was able to have a double scalloped bottom on the feminine cards. The blue piece that I stamped on is actually a sticker that came exactly as in with the kit (see above). Then I hand cut a flower from the floral pattern paper. mounted it on top of a Glimmer Misted Flower, added a die cut butterfly (notice a pattern!) and then added ribbon, a button and some Dew Drops from my stash. Easy Peasy.
This is my masculine card, two patterns of rectangles, zig zag sticker, a clear corner charm (coloured with my Copics) and a bit of paper trimmed to a banner shape and stamped on, were all from the kit. I added the buttons from my stash.
I had a blast working with this line, I found it very inspiring. I wanted to keep on creating and i still have some scraps left to make a few more cards! Thanks ladies for another fun monthly kit!
