May is off to a great start, and it is an especially good month for us Mom's! I hope you get a chance to pamper yourself a little this week and do something that you love!
Just a warning, this is a rather long post.... but you will want to stick around and read to the very end. Go ahead grab a coffee or a tea, I'll wait! lol
Now on to our first order of business! This week's sketch is already for you......
.... it's a double page layout to shake things up a bit and to please our lovers of the double!
I have a little surprise to share with you! Most of you know Eileen, she is a fairly new scrapbooker who creates beautiful layouts. She also does a lot of behind the scenes stuff for the store, creating computer programs for the store and helping with our events to name a couple. And now she will be taking my weekly sketches and creating samples for you! I am so excited to see my sketches come to life each week!
Here is her sample for this week's sketch.....
Great, right? I love that she took a layout that was slightly feminine and worked it into a very masculine layout. She kept the position of the photos the same but changed up the measurements a bit. That's perfect, that's how you make a sketch work for you.
I look forward to seeing what Eileen does with next week's sketch!
Now guess what? We have a couple of more surprises for you this week!
First of all, we are changing things up a bit and offering a little prize to one lucky scrapper that participates in at least 2 of this month's sketches. But remember, you must play along with 2 different sketches for a chance to win! (International participants may be required to pay some shipping fees. ) Who knows, maybe we will run this challenge month after month if you love it and keep playing along!
