Sketch-y Friday with Team A
Hi friends!
Happy Friday! Today we are sharing what is our very first sketch for our December challenges, we are starting on the December challenges a bit early so that we give you a bit of extra time to play, since December is such a busy month.
Here is your sketch....
I based this sketch on a layout that I created a few years ago, I still love the design.
Here is your DT inspiration!
Here is a run down of our Sketch-y Friday rules. Just link up your creations in our sidebar to be entered into a random draw
for our monthly
prize. You have until December 29th, at midnight to participate in any of December's sketch
challenges, each linkup tool will remain open until that
date!
If you are playing along with more than one challenge you will need to link each of them up via a separate blog post for the link up tool to work. (International participants may be required to pay some shipping fees.) Good luck, we cannot wait to see what you create!
*note - If you are playing along using Flickr the team will no longer be leaving comments, due to changes in Flickr policies and passwords. However, we will be checking out your entries for sure and you are definitely eligible for the prize draw. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thanks for visiting! The November winner will be announced in a day or three!

Silhouette Mat Cleaning Tutorial
HI there!
I thought that I would share another tip for cleaning a really dirty silhouette Mat, with you all.
It may be a little hard to tell from this photo but this Silhouette mat has lost all its stickiness, I am trying to get it to stick to my hand with no luck.
So grab some rubbing alcohol, a few baby wipes and a heat gun or blow dryer.
Apply a liberal amount of rubbing alcohol to a baby wipes and begin scrubbing your mat in a circular motion.
You can see how much gunk I was able to take off the mat.
And look how clean it is! The next step I didn't photograph but you will want to rinse it with some warm water.
Now go ahead and dry it with your heat gun, make sure you do not burn or melt the mat. Keep moving the heat tool around.
Look how sticky my mat is again. I was able to use it a few more times, so this is fantastic when you run out of mats and are in a pinch.
Thanks for joining us today!

New Product and a Freebie Cut File
Hi there!
We have a brand new collection in the store, just perfect for all your wintery pages! This is just a sampling of the brand new Bo Bunny Altitude line that arrived last week - oh yeah about same time that winter arrived a little early!
You can order this collection for pick up by emailing us at scrapmuch@rogers.com.
Had I known that winter was coming early I would have prepared a more appropriate cut file, but I hope you can make do with this one for now!

Baker's Twine Storage Tip
Hi there!
I thought I would share a little tip for storing baker's twine. So many people are using really cute jars for their twine, but they can be pricey. And when you want one for each colour, it adds up fast.
However, this tangled mess was making me crazy!
So I scoured my local dollar store, and found these cheap sugar jars.
The flap over the hole was a bit of a problem for me, but luckily it just pulled right off.
And my twine looks so pretty in them!
I picked up 6, one for each colour of the rainbow plus black and brown!
Thanks for visiting!

Inspiration on Thursday
Hi friends!
It's Thursday and that means we have a little inspiration to share with you, are you ready for some eye candy?
Eileen and Elaine recently became aunts, and helped host a shower for their sister to celebrate. Of course these crafty gals, created a few special items for the shower.
Aren't these cupcake picks darling?
And what about this unique and sweet "guest book"?
Which was inspired by this piece of art found on Pinterest.
What a fabulous keepsake for a birth or wedding! Are you inspired? I sure am!
Also, don't forget that we regularly add new posts to our store, you can check them out here on the blog, too!

Altered Candle Jars Tutorial
Hi friends!
With Christmas less than two months away (gasp I know!), I thought I would start sharing some gift type tutorials.
You know us scrappers like to embellish everything! I picked up some great candle jars with some great scents at a local business and decided to have a little fun with them.
I started by choosing some pretty buttons and cutting some little leaves, to make some button flowers.
I added them to some great little wooden banner shaped tags.
Then I added some sticker "4's" and some rub-on "you's" to finish off my tags.
Here is a look at the finished product. I love how we can take something great and make it crafty!
