Party Favour tutorial with My Mind's Eye Market Street

Hi there!

As promised I am back with another little creation using the amazing My Mind's Eye Market Street collection.

I created this sweet little party favour box specifically so that I could use a border punch along the edges to fancy it up.  I thought they would make cute wedding or shower favours.

To help you out, I designed a printable for you.  This is 8.5 x 11 format and you can print it right onto the back of your paper and trim along the solid lines, and fold on the dotted lines.

I also created a Silhouette cut file for those that want it.  This is available in both the older version and the new version by clicking on the image below.

So once you have your box cut out in the method of your choice, go ahead and punch along the 4 outer edges, as shown.

Now assemble the box, tape style adhesive holds the best for this type of project, especially if it will be handled.  I like ScoreTape or Terrifically Tacky Tape, pretty much equally.

Add the tape to the flaps.

And adhere the edges together.

Now for the fun part, decorating!  I made a little wooden tag for mine.

Ta Da!

Thanks for visiting!
