September Reveal with Laura

hello all!

I am so glad that My Mind's Eye released such amazing lines at this past CHA!  I was lucky enough to get a stash of 'Cut & Paste  - Charm' to play with and I had sooo much fun!

Take a look......

I was inspired to keep most of my layout pretty clean and neat, to let these amazing patterns stand out.
There were some really great embellies with this collection, stickers, chipboard, enamel dots and these really cool vellum and felt doodads!
The word 'carefree' was printed onto this card, I used it as a stitching template and created a title.
I layered up a chipboard circle onto a rosette that I created.

Another 'clean layout', this collection is just perfect for my boys... but neutral enough for any everyday use.
Don't discount the impact of layering stickers, some enamel dots and staples create texture.
I LOVE this chipboard chevron arrow set, love it I say!  It was a must have for me... super trendy shape, love the polka dots and the colours... oh my!
A Silhouette title with some doodling, a couple of layered arrow stickers and more enamel dots!

I love this sweet photo of my eldest son napping (from about 20 years ago)  he however does not.  In fact, i had to retrieve it from the trash a couple of times and it has a big crease on it... but I think he is finally old enough  to get over his little naked self and let the picture make it in our family album!  I put the 3 x 4 cards on one of the pattern papers to good use, picking out a few that suited the picture.
See what I mean... that felt and vellum sticker is so sweet!
More layering of embellies, this collection makes it really easy to create interesting clusters.
I journalled right onto my page and used one of the stickers to help anchor this area.

This is quite a bold pattern for my to use a background, I am more of a quiet background kind of gal but the instant I saw this pattern I wanted to highlight it. This was the first layout I create.
I cut two circles out of my background, one top and bottom.  By working with perfect circles I was able to flip them over and use them to fill the holes, letting me put the patterns on both sides of this paper to use... I love that!
Super sweet chipboard flowers... I used some vellum form my stash to created some leaves.
 A larger silhouette title.
More great patterns!

Thanks so much for visiting!
Laura
xoxo
