Spring Retreat News!

I have exciting news to share!  We are revealing the dates and details for our Spring 2013 retreat!   Read on for all of the information......

2013 Spring Retreat at the Elmhurst Inn Resort and Aveda Spa 

March 22 -24, 2012

Our Spring Retreat is being once again held at the wonderful Elmhurst Inn Resort and Spa.  This beautiful Inn is located only 40 minutes from Brantford in the town of Ingersoll.  Surrounded with acres of beautiful scenery, the Inn itself has elegant decor, freshly redecorated guest rooms and baths, complete with 2 queen beds and a warm atmosphere.  All rooms include complimentary access to the guest lounge, games room, fitness room, whirlpool, sauna and steam room so bring your bathing suit! 

Join us for a fabulous Spring getaway weekend where you can enjoy 24-hour cropping, our on-site store, fantastic goodie bags, full buffet meals, and deluxe accommodations.  Once again, we are holding our retreat in the Grand Ball Room, which has a bright and airy feel, with large windows.

The cost of the retreat is $325. +HST, all inclusive.   Spaces are limited and will be reserved on a first come first served basis.  To help you budget for this fantastic weekend, we are breaking down the cost into 3 payments.  A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot.  The remaining balance can be split into 2 equal payments due at the end of January and February respectively.

Directions:

The Elm Hurst Inn and Country Spa is located in Ingersoll Ontario, Canada, at the junction of Plank Line Road and highway 401. It is nestled in a beautiful country setting amongst century old maple trees. Only 30 minutes of travel time take you to London or Stratford, where shopping and theatres are in abundance. The Ingersoll Golf and Country Club is minutes from our door. Toronto and Windsor are only 90 minutes away

Sketch-y Friday

Hi there and happy Friday!

As always we have a new sketch to share with you .

 This sketch was designed to inspire you to tuck lots of little bits onto your page, and maybe use something a little different that you might normally use, like burlap or an onion bag for example.

Tutorial Wednesday - Door Hanger

Hi there!

I have a new tutorial o share today.  I created this door hanger on Monday, featuring a sweet digi from Whimsie Doodles.

 Here is the template that I created to make this door hanger.....

Once you have the base created you can go ahead and decorate it as desired.  Better yet, pull out your scraps and alpha stickers and have the kids make some on a rainy afternoon.

November Colour Challenge

Hi there!

Welcome back to another ScrapMuch? Colour Challenge!  I hope you play along with us this month.  I chose colours based on the products I played with for this month's reveal.

Kelly Green, Sunny Yellow, True Blue, Black Jack

All you have to do is create a new paper crafted project, of any type, that uses the colours from the challenge and post it on your blog or any other online forum  (ie. your Flickr Account) that you can link us up to, by our deadline. You can even play by uploading your layouts to your Facebook page.  Then click on the title of your blog post, copy the URL from the address bar at the top of your screen, and link it using the Inlinkz tool below below.

Please share the challenge colours on your blog (just copy and paste them) and show a link back to this site to encourage your readers to play along as well.  You can link up your projects here for 3 weeks following the challenge and then we will choose a few lucky participants to feature on this blog.
 
One lucky participant will be winning a prize, drawn randomly!!  Woot Woot! It doesn't get much better than that!  Everyone is welcome to play, though there may be some shipping charges to our international winners.
