Happy Friday and first day of November and boy do we ever have a lot going on, so grab a coffee and get settled!
First up is the usual first of the month reveal, this month My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Prash collection is featured. It has fun fresh colours and is so gender neutral that it can be used for just about anything!
Life is Good - celebrating the everyday! |
I also used a contrasting ink colour to ink the edges of my papers for fun factor. It is a super easy trick to change things up a bit.
Together - A boy and a dog |
On this layout I added some doodling for a fun contrast, and I journaled right onto my base paper, love th look though I do have to hold my breath!
I hand cut the salt and pepper element from one of the collection elements and layered them over a little cork heart from my stash.
Live in the Moment |
I added some texture paste with a fun distressed circle mask and added a bit of colour to it using Mr. Huey's and a dauber.
I also created these little party treat boxes.
Next up, we should draw for a winner of our October Sketch-y Friday challenges.
Our winner for October is Mary P! Congratulations Mary! I thought I would share one of her layouts with you.
Congratulations Mary, you
can email us at ScrapMuch@rogers.com to claim your prize, and don't
forget to grab our blinkie from the left hand side bar for your blog!
And now for the Guest Designer position winner. This person will be
responsible for creating a sample with our November 15th sketch. Our
winner for this month is Barbara G. We look forward to having you join us!
Here is a sample of Barbara's art...
Congratulations Barbara, please email me to get all of the information you will need to be our November Guest
Designer.
And now on to this week's sketch.....
It is my turn to create with the sketch, and I have worked on a bit more of my cruise album.
Now it's your turn! Play along and share it with us!
Here is a run down of the rules. We are offering a little prize to one lucky scrapper that participates in at least 2 of this month's 4 sketches. Just link up your creations at the bottom of each Sketch-y Friday post, all qualifying scrappers will be entered into a random draw for a prize. Only one entry per sketch please. You have until Friday November 29th at midnight to participate in any of November's sketch challenges, each linkup tool will remain open until that date! But remember, you must play along with 2 different sketches for a chance to win! (International participants may be required to pay some shipping fees. )
New Information - Since we no longer offer a KIT CLUB SKETCH, Kit Club members that use their Kit Club products to enter these challenges, will receive two ballots for each layout you enter into the challenge, but remember you have to play along with at least 2 sketches to have a chance at winning a prize.
Would you like to be one of our
sketch layout designers? Each month we are going to offer one lucky
participant the opportunity to create the reveal sample for one of our
sketches! So if you are interested in being considered, play along with
at least two sketches and while you are linking up your creations add
"GDT" after your name. The only stipulation is that you must have a
blog.
Thanks again to all of our participants, keep joining us and linking up your creations in the left hand side bar, as we love seeing what you create!
Now getting creating! And thanks for visiting!
Laura
