Hi there!
Happy Wednesday! We are just about a month away from our annual Scrap Pink Crop! On top of being a great day of cropping, we are also raising funds and awareness for a cure for Breast Cancer. We all know and love someone affected by this devastating disease, and our annual crop is a really easy way for you to help out.
While we were in Las Vegas at CHA last month, we started gathering fun prizes for you all to win. Buying raffle tickets for fabulous prizes is a great way to donate to the cause. Here is a peek at just some of the goodies we brought back.
Elaine has also been busy since we arrived home gathering prizes from other sources, and let me just say she is doing an awesome job ... you will not be disappointed!
So why don't you plan on helping us to raise some more funds and surpass our goal! You can register online
here or by calling us at 905-730-2673, and you can find our more details
here.
Now on to today's tip, I have been playing with my Washi tape looking for fun new ways to use some of my stash. I will have a few different Washi tips over the next little while, some will be scrapbooking tips and other will be general crafts.
Today I am sharing a fun little fridge magnet craft.
You will need a roll of magnet tape (adhesive on one side it fine, mine is from the dollar store) and a selection of your favourite Washi tapes.
Cut off a piece of magnetic tape about 2 inches long. Adhere some Washi to it. If you tape is a little see through go ahead and add a second layer of tape.
Trim off the excess Washi at both ends and sides.
Now, for the fun bit, using scissors cut the ends of the Washi covered magnet so that the ends look as if they have been torn off a roll of tape.
Now your notes will have the look of being taped to your fridge or magnetic board, but your Washi is reusable because it is a magnet!
Thanks for visiting!
