Heart-fold Flower Tutorial
Hello!
I am on a bit of a flower craze here, so I have another flower tutorial to share today!
First up you will need to punch or die cut 7 to 9 hearts. The number you will need depends on the size of heart that you use and the size of flower that you end up with, Keep in mind that the flower's finished size will be 2 times the length of your hearts. For my flower I am using 8 hearts that measure 1.25" high and 1.25" wide. You can play with these measurements to suit your project.
Next up punch or cut a scrap piece of paper smaller than your flower will be.
Cover this circle with adhesive ( I apologize for the glitter in my adhesive, I was working with glitter paper prior to creating this tutorial).
Fold your hearts in half, lengthwise.
And arrange them onto your adhesive covered circle, like so.
This last step is optional, but I love it. Insert a pop dot into each "petal" to give your flower some dimension.
This is what it looks like on a card, cute and simple right1
A little close up, hope you like it!
Thanks for visiting!

February Colour Challenge Winner
Hello!
Our February colour challenge drew to a close last night. And before I announce the winner (do you feel the suspense?), I wanted to share an entry layout with you. Tiiu did a wonderful job incorporating the colours of this month's challenge into her gorgeous layout....

Which means Laureen is our winner this month! Congratulations! Email us here to claim your prize. And grab your "I won at ScrapMuch?" blinkie from the sidebar!
Thanks to everyone that played along. We hope you join us again for March's Colour Challenge (any guesses on the colours for March?), which will be released next Tuesday, March 5th!

Notched Flower Tutorial
Hi there!
I have a fun flower tutorial to share today, it is pretty simple to create, why not give it a try?
First up, just to let you know that I created mine out of felt, but you can follow the exact same steps to create one with some pretty patterned papers or cardstock.
You will need a few different sized circles, you can punch, die cut or hand cut them... whatever your preference is will be just fine. You can add as many layers as you want to. Though, I wouldn't suggest any fewer than three.
Now punch a circle from a scrap piece of cardstock and mark it in 5 places fairly evenly around the circumference.
Lay this template onto one of your circles and cut notches into your circle at each mark
Now repeat with the other circles.
Stack them all up, offsetting the notches.
Secure the layers with a button or brad, or anything else that you love.
Voila, it takes only minutes to make a custom coordinated flower for your project.

Punching Washi Tutorial
Hi there!
I have a quick and fun little tutorial to share today. We all love Washi right? It's a great way to add more pattern and colour to a project, and it is super versatile, too. But wouldn't it be fun to add a decorative edge to it? Well here is a quick tutorial to show you how to do just that.
Grab your Washi and a piece of cardstock the size you require for the project you are creating.
Run the Washi along the cardstock, it will give your Washi the rigidity it needs to go through a punch.
Trim off or wrap the edges so they are tidy.
Now start punching.
And the finished piece. So pretty right?
Here it is here on a card.
And a picture of the whole project.
Thanks for visiting!
