We are off to Scrapfest today! For those who don't know, Scrapfest is Canada's largest papercrafting event. It is our first time having a booth at Scrapfest and we are super excited. We did a practice set up last weekend, so we have a pretty good idea of how we would like our booth to look.
If you are heading to Scrapfest, be sure to stop by and say hi! We will be at booth 630, tickets to the marketplace are $12.00 at the door for Saturday.
If you aren't planning to go, you may want to think about it... it is a great venue and there is lots of fun and excitement going on.
While we are away, we thought we'd leave you with a little contest and a chance to win this Bazzill prize pack....
-glazed chipboard 6 x 6 pack
-grandma's feather bed 6 x 6 paper pack
-textured vellum 6 x 6 pack
This is a great kit to jump start some fabulous cards, so with that in mind, if you would like to win here's what you have to do.......
-make 3 cards with one paper collection (of your choice), for any theme (ie. birthday, mother's day, Easter, etc.)
Here's the twist, you must make a masculine and a feminine card plus one of your choice. Show us how you can adapt a paper collection. For example, if the papers are more masculine then the feminine card will be a challenge for you and a great design lesson for our blog friends. And vice versa. If you are not a card maker, please go ahead and give it a try, join in on the fun! It's always a party when more people play! You can do it! And we are excited to see your results!
After you have created your cards, leave a comment on this post letting us all know that you have joined in on the fun, then email pictures of your cards to me here. You have until April 16th at midnight to leave your comment and email your pictures. Good luck! I will draw for a winner on April 17th.
We would love to add everyone's cards to our card inspiration slide show on this blog, if you do not want your cards posted, please inform me when you send your photos. You are still eligible to win, of course.
Have fun with it and wish us luck at Scrapfest!
